Membership
The VAEE is a not-for-profit, membership driven organisation so the best way to support us is by becoming a member.
Over 300 individuals and organisations have become members of the VAEE. This support through membership is vital in enabling the association to remain both an independent voice for the sector and financially sustainable.
Volunteer
Give some time or expertise
One of the key roles of the VAEE is enabling learning through sharing of knowledge and information. We hope that you, education practitioners, can contribute some of your expertise by:
- contributing articles for the VAEE journal, Eingana
- delivery of workshops at events
- input into the development and delivery of projects.
Become a regular volunteer
Volunteers have been supporting the VAEE since it began in 1984. This has enabled the organisation to achieve far more that it would have been able to with the small team of staff.
We match volunteers with tasks and projects that meet their interests and needs.
Areas of work include:- Administrative support
- Event organisation and participation
- Project work for education professionals and schools
- Manning the VAEE information stand at events
- Database input and management
Volunteering is fulfilling and enables you to build new skills and make new contacts within the environmental education sector.

Donations
You can also support the VAEE through donations. All donations are very greatly received and any donations over $2 are tax deductible. To make a donation, contact the VAEE office on (03) 9349 1806.
