Workshops in May:

Wednesday 2nd

Workshop 1 - Guide Beside Approach to Facilitation. 9.15am - 4.30pm.

A series of three workshops covering key elements of the GB approach will be held during May. Support materials and outcomes will be reported on the GB website.
Monday 14th

Workshop 2 - Guide Beside Approach to Evaluation. 9.15am - 4.30pm.

This workshop is the second in the series of workshops covering key elements of the GB approach and focusses on evaluation.
Thursday 31st

Workshop 3 - Guide Beside Approach to Planning & Building Partnerships. 9.15am - 4.30pm.

This workshop is the third and final in the series of workshops in May covering key elements of the GB approach which focusses on planning and building partnerships.

Venue: Statewide Resource Centre, 150 Palmerston St, Carlton.

Cost: $50 for VAEE members; $65 for others for each workshop (concession rates also negotiable).

Project timeline:

The third phase of the GB will be carried out over six months, between April to June 2007.

February Frame project & communicate to key stakeholders; identify reference group & collaborative learning groups; establish GB location on VAEE website;
March Identify key approaches to materials development; plan for first workshop; post background GB materials on website;
April First workshop & working meetings with collaborative learning groups (CLG's); post outcomes on GB website; plan for second workshop;
May Second workshop; roundtable forum; post outcomes on GB website; plan for third workshop; recommendations for targets for further funding;
June Third workshop; post outcomes on GB website; bring materials & resources together into draft form; seek DSE comment;
July Editing, production of final report & GB materials.
