VAEE ONLINE PILOT FOR TEACHERS

Working Towards Sustainability in Your School

4 x 1hour interactive online sessions, 2nd Semester 2011

For teachers who are planning or implementing sustainability projects or supporting a school towards ResourceSmart AuSSI Vic module certification.

This online interactive professional development will support you in implementing and planning your school based sustainability project.

This could include….

  • Getting a ‘Green Team” established in the school
  • Getting sustainable curriculum into the school
  • Having a vegetable garden and/or compost system
  • Developing a School Environmental Management Plan
  • Developing a Whole School Environmental Policy
  • Putting together your baseline data

Facilitating Core Module Refresher Course
- for trained facilitators

WHEN: Tuesday 18th October (9am-1pm)

WHAT: This half day refresher is for trained facilitators who want to update their knowledge and skills in Core module facilitation. By the end of this session you will be familiar with the current requirements for Core module certification.

WHAT: This event will include an update from Sustainability Victoria and DEECD, and an update on SETS.
